While Trevor and Ryan were at scout camp the olders girls and I decided to take a coastal road trip! Becca was so kind to watch Meredith for us so we could get away!
Our first stop was Solvang where we toured the quaint little town, tried on hats pretending to be part of the Royal family and ate Ebelskivers. Much to my mothers dismay none of us like the Ebleskivers!
We spent the night in San Simeon where were visited Hearst Castle. Then continued our drive up PCH. We made lots of stops including Morro Bay, Avila Farms, Madonna Inn and a Waterfall that drops into the ocean.
Finally we made it to San Francisco where we got to stay at The Plaza..a luxury hotel. It was so beautiful! We felt like Eloise at the Plaza!
In the lobby was a Ghiradelli store so our first stop was for an ice cream Sundae!
We got to spend time in China town, the Wharf, the Packing district, Pier 39, Lombardi Street, Ghiradelli square, the "Full House" house, lots of shopping, the Golden Gate Bridge and jumping in random peoples car they got from Uber. It was a great experience! We also had yummy breakfast from Tartines (a must for anyone in the San Francisco area).

It was so windy at the Golden Gate Bridge....this was our attempt at a picture...total FAIL!! haha!!
