Happy 6th Birthday Trevor!!

Happy sixth birthday Trevor! I still remember the day dad was sitting in the hospital cafeteria eating lunch and the hospital staff had to page him because they were rushing me into emergency surgery to have you via c-section! Luckily you were healthy. You were born with a smile on your face and that same smile still remains. You have brought so much joy and laughter in our family! We love you bud!

Mission Bay 2008

Last week we went to Mission Bay with my parents. We took the SeaDoo's down and had lots of fun riding the SeaDoo's, tubing and skiing. The weather was gorgeous and the water was not too cold. We also lucked out on our Hotel room and got a suite on the top floor! It was fabulous!!!

Scooter was old enough to drive the SeaDoo alone for the first time this year- he had a blast!

Trevor was so tired that he fell asleep like this in the sand- it was hilarious!

Old Town San Diego

During our stay in San Diego we had dinner in Old Town. I love that place- could it be because mexican food is my favorite type of food?!? Ryan hanging out his underware :o)

Sea World

Today I decided to take the kids to Sea World and use our fun passes. It was the most perfect day! The weather was warm, not hot, not cold, but perfectly warm with a cool breeze. No sweating while waiting in the stands for a show to start. We scored big time!!

We started the day at the Shamu show and as usual I was touched in the beginning of the show when they honor all the men and women who serve in the military to protect our freedom. I get that "please do not cry infront of all these strangers" feeling. Maybe it is because everytime I think about my step brother who is serving in the military and all the sacrafice his family has made for my freedom.

After Shamu we walked over to check out the starfish and the little aquarium:

Then we watched one of my favorites: Circ de la Mer. I am amazed at the talent and flexibility of these people! Plus the clowns are very funny :o)!
When saw this pose it reminded me of all those yoga classes I take -ha ha!!
We then went to see "Pets Rule"- sorry no pictures. Then finished the day with the bat rays and sea otters. Trevor's favorite thing to do at Sea World is pet the bat rays. We got lucky and he got to pet a ton of them- they were attracted to my kids! One last thing- I have to put a "SHOUT OUT" to Meredith. I forgot to bring the stroller so she had to walk the whole time. If you know me, you know that I walk fast and far! She was such a trooper and never complained once! My kids are getting bigger-----I see no stroller in my future :o)!
