Washington DC

In 5th grade the kids study American History so to give them a hands on experience we took them to Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia over Easter Vacation. It was wonderful seeing all the great monuments, touring the White House, and visiting the museums. We definetly did not have enough time to do everything we wanted to do! The girls will attest to that since we did not even stop for lunch during the days. Our famous line was "just one more spot then we will eat". The girls were realy troopers!

We really liked Colonial Williamsburg! We felt like we were living back when this great country was just being formed! The girls really learned alot- HANDS ON!

We were able to stay with my Dad and Step-mom in Maryland. It was great to spend some time with them. They live in such a beautiful area and were fabulous hostesses !! We are missing the Sundae's at BERT'S, we hope Tyler likes his "gift" from the girls, and we were able to catch a Baseball game at Camden Field which was great! Which, just as an fyi, if I had another boy his name would be Camden- no this is not an announcement!

Thanks to my parents and Randy and Cathy for taking EXCELLENT care of the two younger ones! They had so much fun that I do not think they missed us one bit!
