We took the early morning trek up to Pasadena to see the floats in the Rose Parade before the parade started. We did this last year and the kids were not thrilled about getting up early, but ended up having a great time! The kids all wanted to go back again this year. We had a good time again, but we all agree that this should be an every other year tradition. As we are all getting older and appreciating our sleep more getting up early after a late night wiped us out for the rest of the day!
