Trevor's Baptism July 31, 2010

On July 31, 2010 Trevor Ryan Jones was baptised and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the Mission Viejo Stake Center.  He was baptised and confirmed by

his father Ryan Neill Jones.

Trevor was all smiles during the evening.  He was so excited to be baptised.  At his young age he has a testimony that he is a Child of God and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love him and know him.  He has a strong and very personal testimony of the priesthood and how it has already blessed his life.  He is very tenderhearted and sensitive to the Spirit at the young age of eight. After his baptism he says "Mom I feel different...it is a good different!"

Here are all the family members who were able to attend Trevor's baptism. We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful and supportive family.  Grandpa Wright is in the picture (blocked by Grandpa Jones) and Aunt Deeanna is taking the picture.

Here are the men who were able to stand in the confirmation circle (Scooter, Uncle Randy, Ryan Grandpa Jones and Grandpa Wright).  This was a first for Scooter who is set to go on a mission in November.

After the baptism we had a party at our house.  It is always fun to entertain and have family and friends over. Here is the dessert table (brownies and mini-banana cupcakes). 

I made magnets for our guest to take home with them to  remember Trevor's special day:

The dinner menu consisted of ribs, chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, strawberry/banana spinach salad, watermelon and rolls.  It was all so delicious!
