At preschool last month the kids were learning about farm animals so at the end of the unit we got together and took the kids to a local petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano. There were ginnea pigs, rabbits, horses, turtles, imus, geese, lamas, goats (including one that was only 2 weeks old), birds and a fun park to play at.
Not all the kids were able to go, but those who did had a great time! Below is a picture of a few of the kids with Mrs. Lloyd (their teacher):
