Today I decided to take the kids to Sea World and use our fun passes. It was the most perfect day! The weather was warm, not hot, not cold, but perfectly warm with a cool breeze. No sweating while waiting in the stands for a show to start. We scored big time!!
We started the day at the Shamu show and as usual I was touched in the beginning of the show when they honor all the men and women who serve in the military to protect our freedom. I get that "please do not cry infront of all these strangers" feeling. Maybe it is because everytime I think about my step brother who is serving in the military and all the sacrafice his family has made for my freedom.
After Shamu we walked over to check out the starfish and the little aquarium:
Then we watched one of my favorites: Circ de la Mer. I am amazed at the talent and flexibility of these people! Plus the clowns are very funny :o)!
When saw this pose it reminded me of all those yoga classes I take -ha ha!!
We then went to see "Pets Rule"- sorry no pictures. Then finished the day with the bat rays and sea otters. Trevor's favorite thing to do at Sea World is pet the bat rays. We got lucky and he got to pet a ton of them- they were attracted to my kids! One last thing- I have to put a "SHOUT OUT" to Meredith. I forgot to bring the stroller so she had to walk the whole time. If you know me, you know that I walk fast and far! She was such a trooper and never complained once! My kids are getting bigger-----I see no stroller in my future :o)!

Heidi just sent me your blog and I had to take a peak at the kids. How they have grown! Thanks for thinking of us. Whenever we go to SeaWorld and they ask us to stand, I do cry. It is an amazing feeling. Thanks to everyone that supports us.
Heidi also told me how to start a blog so you can see Rich and the fam the night he left for Iraq. I'm not very good at putting the pages together but they'll do for now.
