Meredith started her first day of preschool today!! Last night I picked out a super cute pink and white outfit for her to wear on her first day of school, however to my surprise she insisted on wearing this metallic blue pony tail holder. Thus I had to change the whole outfit to match this metallic blue- not easy when she has nothing that color! Luckily it was Patriot Day today so I decided to dress her in last years 4th of July outfit (so much for that cute "first day of school" outfit!). She did great going into the class, putting her lunch in her cubby and started working on puzzles (her favorite) right away. We were so happy that she adapted to the classroom so easily. It helps that she has the same teacher (Mrs. Lloyd) as Trevor had for the past two years! We look forward to seeing her grow and become even more independent!
In the meantime, she is in the other room throwing a tantrum because Trevor will not call her "princess" LOL!!! Apparently she must of had a big day with preschool, park and playdate and is now exhausted!! Boy it is tough being three (smile)!
I now officially have 2 1/2 hours to myself twice a week. This is the first time for me to be home during the day without any children in 11 1/2 years- WOW! Hopefully I will get out of physical therapy in the next month so I can actually do something that I want during that time!
