Happy Sixth Birthday Meredith!!!

Better late than never....
Meredith's birthday was on January 7th, but I did not post that day...so sorry! We will be taking her to the American Girl store so she can pick out her first American Girl Doll in the next few months. But as for her actual birthday Meredith celebrated her sixth birthday on a Mexican cruise with her Grandma and Grandpa Wright. She celebrated with style! She says that she is so spoiled she stinks :o!!
Can you believe our big girl was once this small???Showing off her coconuts at age 3:

Meredith started kindergarten this year and mom has sure missed having her home. Luckily she gets out of school at 11:15 a.m. so she can still be mom's shopping buddy. Meredith has added such a sweet spirit into our home. She is a very helpful, caring, funny, obedient little girl. In Trevor's words: "she's AWESOME". She prides herself on being helpful.
Here are some more recent pictures of mom's little buddy.

Annie 2010- Teen Company

This year the girls were old enough to join Teen Company at Center Stage Studio. This was so nice for me as they were able to be in the same group. So convenient for driving them to practices and we only had to watch one performance. The production this semester was "Annie". It was so much fun! Our favorite number was "You're never fully dressed without a smile". The choreography and singing was very entertaining! Mackenzie had the role of Duffy (one of the main orphans)

Madalyn had multiple roles (three costume changes): Annette, Servant and FBI agent. We loved her roll in the center of the stage as she was catching Rooster!

Happy New Year 2010!!!

While uploading some photo's onto the computer today I found some images that Ryan must have taken on New Year's Eve. I had just had some surgery and was in and out of conciousness in our bedroom so it was all a blur to me! Apparently they had a great time (per the pictures below).....

Apparently Meredith burned her finger on these poppers so her year did not start so great!

Christmas Eve 2009

We hosted Christmas Eve with the Jones' this year. We had a yummy prime rib dinner and lots of goodies for dessert. Trevor and Meredith got to be Joseph and Mary in the Nativity Story. Meredith was so nuturing to Baby Jesus the entire time and took her role as May very serious.

Here is the whole gang. Dallin was the tallest angel I have ever seen!
Renay was even able to join us. It was nice to see her again as her schedule is so busy we do not get to see her often. Since Keith has moved up to Northern California he, unfortunately, was not able to celebrate with us. We sure did miss having him and Rodney here. Maybe next year....

Christmas Day 2009

This year we were lucky and Trevor slept in until 6:00 a.m. We told his he had to go back to his bed until 7:00 a.m. then we would wake up his sisters to go down and see if Santa came. He gets the most excited about Christmas- it is fun to see the magic through his eyes!

Here is our traditional Christmas morning pictures on the stairs:Meredith got a red Nintendo DS
Trevor got Pokemon Platinum on the DS. Funny thing about this is later in the day he says "Mom I keep thinking I must be dreaming because I have dreamed about getting the game for so long that it is hard to believe that I really have it!"

Mackenzie got Band Hero and has been playing ever since!
Madalyn got an itouch. She was so surprised by this because she was our only child who did not ask Santa for something. She says that "Santa did good"!

Here is Ryan with a handmade ornament from Meredith:
Trevor loves his new batting gloves! He wears them to play video games too :o)!
Later that day we headed out to my mom's house for more presents and a delicious Christmas dinner. Grandma and me:
Trevor and Meredith wanted "Pop the Pig" so they were excited to open this!

Our family had a wonderful Christmas this year. The kids all got along and were geniunly happy with everything they got and for the time they were able to spend with family.

Christmas Concerts 2009

December is always a month of Christmas performances. I love to watch the kids perform as they just love to sing! We started with Meredith's Singer's Company performance. She had a solo "I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus underneath the mistletoe last night..." We thought she should of had the "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" since she lost both of her upper front teeth just before the performance!
Grandma and Meredith:
Here is Meredith at her Kindergarten Holiday Concert.

Trevor's 2nd grade Holiday Concert was merged with Ancestor day. First the kids sang with Mr. Healy (the music teacher) then the parents and kids went back to the classroom for a feast from around the world!

Trevor at his desk waiting to be excused to go eat!

Madalyn's middle school performance was wonderful! The concert began with the kids in their black dresses/ tuxedo's. They sang some beautiful songs.

Then at intermission the kids all changed into their holiday attire and sang some super fun songs! Here is Madalyn with one of her good friends Haylie:

Madalyn was selected to sing a song with her girlfriends. She is so lucky to have such wonderful peers who are all great examples to her! They did a great job!

Thanksgiving in Orlando, Florida

I am FINALLY posting about our trip to Florida. There are about seven new post so scroll down and read them all!
We flew to Orlando, Florida with my parents and Scooter for the Thanksgiving week. We visited lots of Disney parks, swam at the resort and saw "A Christmas Carol". The weather was beautiful and we all had a wonderful time! We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages timeshare. It was a beautful location with lots of waterfall and hammocks and it was only 5-10 minutes from the Disney Parks.

Here are some photos of us hanging out at the resort.
