Thanksgiving in Orlando, Florida

I am FINALLY posting about our trip to Florida. There are about seven new post so scroll down and read them all!

We flew to Orlando, Florida with my parents and Scooter for the Thanksgiving week. We visited lots of Disney parks, swam at the resort and saw "A Christmas Carol". The weather was beautiful and we all had a wonderful time! We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages timeshare. It was a beautful location with lots of waterfall and hammocks and it was only 5-10 minutes from the Disney Parks.

Disneyworld

Our first day there we went to Disneyworld. It is very similar to Disneyland except the streets are wider and the Castle is bigger. The Castle is absolutely beautiful at night during the Christmas Season!! It is lit up and changes colors constantly- I could watch it for hours! This car was parked infront of us :o):

Epcot

Epcot Center was lots of fun. We enjoyed the different countries and also the test track. This squirrel decided he wanted the peanuts we were eating with our lunch. He came rite up to us and just sat with us and ate. What a spoiled squirrel!

Scooter was pulled out of the audience in Italy to be the "joker" in the play who did "absolutely nothing"!! It was so funny!

There was a Coca Cola store there that let us sample coke from all around the world. Most of them had a "fruity" taste and were not too bad. However the one from Italy left the most disgusting aftertaste in our mouth- it was gross!!

Disney Studios

We had beautiful weather all week with the exception of the day we went to Disney Studios. IT POURED!!! We had to break down and buy those attractive ponchos that everyone was wearing :o)! If anyone needs six ponchos you are more than welcome to borrow ours!

Disney Studio's was alot of fun (despite the rain). The Rockin' Roller Coaster, American Idol Experience and the Osborn Family Festival of Lights were probably the highlights of the day. Main Street:

The American Idol Experience was so fun! It was set up just like the TV show. People would try out in the morning and the final 15 would compete during the day and the audience would vote. The top three performed in the finale in the evening. The winner was given a front of the line pass for an American Idol Audition.

The highlight of the entire day was the Osborne Family Festival of Lights. There were over 3 million lights on display with music that coordinated with the dancing lights. It was spectacular!!! Ryan is a self proclaimed "griswald" so this was an inspiration to him! The picture do not do this place justice.
